The Virtual Institute for Professional Training was formed
by the Alliance to create opportunities for new and continuing
education and workforce development in biomedical informatics
and systems biology. The Summer Session offers a Five-Week
Module, one week Short Courses, and One-Day Workshops. Click

Who Should Attend?
Advanced undergraduates, graduate students and post-doctoral
fellows of Alliance member institutions pursuing computational
biology and related studies
Industry professionals interested in learning about bioinformatics
to advance their professional development
One-Day Workshops are also open and free to students and teachers
of high schools and community colleges. Online application
required.
All courses and workshops will be held at the Paul Peck Alumni
Center, Drexel University
