The Virtual Institute for Professional Training was formed by the Greater
Philadelphia Bioinformatics Alliance to create opportunities for new and
continuing education and workforce development.
The Institute's ongoing programs of workshops, training sessions, and
seminars support the continuing education of biomedical and bioinformatics
professionals from industry, graduate and advanced undergraduate students, and
biomedical, computer science, mathematics, and engineering faculty.
The Virtual Institute will host a series of week-long short courses
from May 30 through July 15, 2005
